Quagga Stampede
The Quagga is an extinct subspecies of Burchell’s Zebra, which has been recently coming back due to the selective breeding efforts from an organization called “The Quagga Project”. Through their guidance, the Quagga’s traits have been successfully rebred into chosen Burchell’s Zebras, essentially reviving the Quagga. This hope for the future, of recovering extinct species and re-establishing balance on our earth, is the main drive of my project. The depiction of a running herd of Quagga being chased by the rise of dawn communicates a march forward into a better, brighter, and wilder world.

Golden State Furcon 2025 Pop-up
A pop-up display designed to introduce the convention and encourage photography. I created the initial painting with markers and acrylics on drawing paper. I printed it onto smooth vinyl, 7 feet tall and 13 feet wide. The scene depicts an anthropomorphic rendering of the famous P-22 of Griffith Park, CA, overlooking a shining downtown Los Angeles. I constructed a faux cement wall covered in graffiti along with a sign that displays the conventions name and year.
